Jonathan Rhoads, PE

Mr. Rhoads received his electrical engineering degree from Florida State University and has 8 years of experience providing professional electrical engineering and design services for commercial, healthcare, and governmental project types. On his assignments, Jonathan’s responsibilities include designing cost effective electrical systems compliant with the most recent code standards, creating performance lighting designs, and performing electrical studies for a wide variety of facility types. He has demonstrated skills in project management, promoting collaborative environments, and effective communication for project requirements. His specialized software skills include Microsoft Office Suite, all Autodesk products including BIM management, Procore Construction Management Software, SKM, Easy Power, Elum tools, and Visual Studios. His projects include renovations at UNC Greensboro, electric vehicle charging stations for the USDA, and projects at UNC Chapel Hill and NCCU. He performed a feasibility study and design for a campus-wide Photovoltaic (PV) system for NCCU of 634 KW, which was not funded. He has designed a number of commercial and utility grade PV systems. He is experienced in power generation using diesel and gas generator sets for a variety of building types.
