Energy Performance Contracting Support

FSG works closely with building owners and managers to plan, implement, and support performance contracting initiatives.  Service offerings include:

• Independent assessment of a project’s economic potential, including review of approaches that best integrate energy performance contracting into modernization & maintenance programs
• Due diligence throughout the process—ESCO selection, project development, design & construction, and project repayment
• Analysis of performance, policy, and contractual issues, including savings shortfalls, waiver requests, adjustments to performance baseline, and performance guarantees
• Assessing fit between agency capability, portfolio needs, and energy service company strengths & weaknesses
• Development of self-managed EPCs for reduced costs and increased work scope
