Matt Pesce, P.E.
Mr. Pesce, P.E., is a consulting engineer specializing in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability. He provides decision support to building owners and managers to integrate energy management with building construction and renovation projects, finance, and maintenance. Mr. Pesce routinely performs energy studies including benchmarking and ASHRAE Level I, II, & III energy audits, completes LEED building commissioning, and performs measurement & verification. He also acts as an owner’s rep for energy financing projects including performance contracting and power purchase agreements.
Mr. Pesce has a Masters in Engineering Mechanics and a Masters in Business Administration. He is a member of USGBC, past chair of the Charlotte Chapter’s Marketing and Development Committee, and is a current member of the Green Schools Committee. He is also a member of ASHRAE’s committee for Guideline 14 on “Measurement of Energy and Demand Savings”. Mr. Pesce is a Licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, Certified M&V Professional, and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional.
